Yesterday, Samuel Leroux won the third stage of the 39th Tour Poitou-Charentes en Nouvelle-Aquitaine: a 27.3 km individual time trial, averaging 49.561 km/h. For us at Aero Performance Lab, this is a great validation of our work, as Samuel visited us a few weeks ago to optimize his time trial position in the wind tunnel.

During testing, we worked on refining his position to improve aerodynamics, focusing on both efficiency and maintaining a comfortable position. Small adjustments to his arm and shoulder position yielded measurable gains, allowing Samuel to better utilize his speed during races.
The time trial is a discipline where details are crucial. Every second counts, and the right position can make the difference between a place in the general classification and victory. Thanks to his performance, Samuel now heads into the final stage with a 20-second lead in the general classification. This demonstrates that optimizing his time trial position has made a measurable difference. For us at Aero Performance Lab, it's confirmation that aerodynamic preparation pays off. We congratulate Samuel on this impressive performance and wish him the best of luck defending his lead in the final stage.
